Soundgarden logo from the cover of the Badmotorfinger album. Following the release of Badmotorfinger, Soundgarden went on a North American tour in October and November 1991. Afterward, Guns N' Roses personally selected the band as its opening act for their Use Your Illusion tour.

Soundgarden fue una banda estadounidense de rock alternativo formada en Seattle, Washington, en 1984 por el vocalista Chris Cornell, el bajista Hiro Yamamoto y el guitarrista Kim Thayil. Matt Cameron se unió al grupo como batería permanente en 1986 y Ben Shepherd se convirtió en reemplazo definitivo de Yamamoto en 1990.
