I felt the same ambivalence towards them as I did towards the other Monsters of Indie Rock. I had a burned copy of Slanted and Enchanted, but it never really stuck.

Sonic Youth are my favourite band. *is. Live In Brooklyn 2011 👈👈👈. Hell yeah with the uncensored Sister cover. I don’t listen to music much anymore, but was lucky enough to see them multiple times in the 90’s. Nirvana opened for Sonic Youth at The Wharfield in SF in like ‘91. This was before Nevermind came out.
