Hace 18 horas · My headcanon is that they're sentient, it's already been "confirmed" in rush adventure, but my guess is that just like the master emerald can seal people inside it, so can the chaos emeralds, so during one of the light and dark gaia fights, seven heroes help him seal dark gaia for another millenium or so, but at the cost of their souls.
Hace 5 días · Hey Sean, have you thought about Sonic's "Emerald Dive" move from Sonic the fighters? It's basically sort of looks like the sprites used in Sonic CD for when Sonic jumps off of a spring and spins looking up before falling down. However, in Sonic the Fighters it's done by sonic jumping and it's horizontal. It causes damage if it hits.
