1 de ene. de 2015 · The sodium butyl xanthate (SBX) with chemical formular as C 4 H 9 OCS 2 Na, has molecular weight of 172, which is provided by Jinchuan mining plant (⩾82 wt%) and used without any further purification. The molecular structure of SBX is shown as Fig. 1.The concentration of SBX as the sole organic target is 100 mg/L in removal tests.Besides, the concentration of SBX is 1000 mg/L in other tests.
14 de abr. de 2020 · An optimal laboratory two-step procedure was developed for sodium/potassium O-alkyl carbonodithioate (sodium/potassium alkyl xanthates) production in the form of aqueous solutions. Sodium isopropyl xanthate (Na-iPrX), as the most effective salt in a real ore flotation process, was also produced at an industrial level and introduced as a collector for copper ores.
30 de abr. de 1998 · At a lower ethyl xanthate concentration of 3.3 10-4 M, the zeta potential is reversed to negative in the pH range of 4.5-6. At pH >6 there is little difference from that obtained in the absence of xanthate, and the same PZCs are observed at pH 7.5. This shows that xanthate cannot adsorb readily onto pyrite above pH 6 at low concentrations.

1 de may. de 1996 · As has been shown in previous studies [13-16], xanthate reacts with ferric ions and forms a number of ferric xanthate precipitates, depending on the solution pH. It has been established that the flotation of pyrite with xanthate in weak alkaline solutions is due to the formation of surface ferric hydroxo xanthates in conjunction with dixanthogen [13,15,16,28,29].
