12 de sept. de 2022 · Cómo usar either/or y neither/nor. Lo primero que hay que tener en cuenta es que “either” y “neither” se pueden usar de diferentes maneras. Por ejemplo, se pueden usar como adverbios, artículos determinados, pronombres o conjunciones.
Se utilizan either y neither en oraciones negativas para evitar la repetición: We don't come to school by bus and they don't either. (Nosotros no vamos a la escuela en autobús y ellos tampoco) o We don't come to school by bus and neither do they.
We can use neither as a conjunction with nor. It connects two or more negative alternatives. This can sound formal in speaking: Neither Brian nor his wife mentioned anything about moving house. (Brian didn’t mention that they were moving house and his wife didn’t mention that they were moving house.)
