Samuel Henry John «Sam» Worthington (Godalming, Surrey; 2 de agosto de 1976) es un actor australiano-británico, conocido por interpretar a Jake Sully en Avatar, Marcus Wright en Terminator Salvation y Perseo en Furia de titanes.

2009–present: Avatar franchise and other work. In 2009, Worthington starred in James Cameron-directed science-fiction film Avatar, in which he played the role of Jake Sully, a paraplegic former U.S. Marine who is at the centre of a war between his own species and the indigenous Na'vi people of Pandora.
Worthington also won the AFI award for Best Male Actor. Worthington's career took off internationally when he was cast as Jake Sully in James Cameron's Avatar (2009) and as Marcus Wright, a cyborg who assists the humans despite their suspicions of him in Terminator Salvation (2009).
