For me, Plastic Ono Band is one of the greatest singer-songwriter albums ever made, Lennon's writing is at its sharpest here, and his singing is expressive, emotional and raw. The simplicity of this album is intoxicating, and the production doesn't sound dated at all, to this day it sounds fresh and on point.
