You are smart. I had an awsome 80s vinyl collection and replaced it all with CDs then replaced all the CDs with MP3s then replaced the MP3s with FLACs then started replacing the FLACs with vinyl for the last ten years and now I'm reminded why we all gave away our vinyl for the CDs in the first place.
