13 de abr. de 2022 · Hugh Bonneville, who played the Earl of Grantham and man of the house Robert Crawley, has been married to LuLu Williams since 1998. They met when they were teenagers and lost touch for a long period before reuniting.
He is the husband of Cora, son of Violet, and father of Mary, Edith and Sybil. Robert is immensely proud of Downton as the place he grew up and takes his responsibility for the estate very seriously; he sees himself as its caretaker, not its owner.
By 1920 it is clear to Carlisle Mary prefers Matthew's company to his and this makes him very jealous. Matthew and Robert both wonder why she is still with him. Eventually Cora tells Robert about the scandal, and Robert tells Mary he doesn't want her married to a man who threatens her with ruin.
She married Robert Crawley, Viscount Downton who became Earl of Grantham upon his father's death, and brought her large dowry to Downton. Lady Grantham has three daughters, Mary , Edith and Sybil , and her main focus has been their happiness and success.
After leaving Coronation Street, James-Collier achieved international recognition as the scheming, lonely gay footman (and later under-butler) Thomas Barrow in the historical drama series Downton Abbey (2010–2015), subsequently appearing in the franchise's two feature films, Downton Abbey (2019) and Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022).
