The Carpathia was a steamship built by Cunard in 1902 and registered at 13,603 gross tons. She was assigned to the Liverpool to New York or Boston route and was involved in the rescue of the Titanic survivors in 1915. She was hit by two torpedoes in 1918 and sank at 12.40am on 17 July 1918.
