The ‘62 Group was a real-life Jewish anti-fascist outfit. The popular series is based on the 2014 novel by the same name by Jo Bloom. Ridley Road refers to a street in northeast London in a neighborhood that used to be heavily Jewish (and still is home to an Orthodox Jewish community today).
