English at Riddlesdown - A Rationale. Visiting and Revisiting Themes and Concepts. Although the range of ideas that writers explore is vast, our curriculum selections return to the same core concepts from Year 7 to year 13. This allows students to build and develop vocabulary, knowledge and confidence in specific areas of knowledge over time.
