Richard Benjamin Speck (December 6, 1941 – December 5, 1991) was an American mass murderer who killed eight student nurses in their South Deering, Chicago, residence via stabbing, strangling, slashing their throats, or a combination of the three on the night of July 13–14, 1966.

7 de may. de 2024 · In 1962, Speck married a 15-year-old girl, Shirley Malone; their child, a girl, was born soon thereafter. The marriage ended in divorce in 1966. In 1963, after numerous additional arrests, Speck was convicted of theft and check fraud and sentenced to three years in prison, but he was paroled after 16 months.
