Richard George Rogers, Baron Rogers of Riverside, CH, FRIBA, FCSD, HonFREng, RA (23 July 1933 – 18 December 2021) was a British-Italian architect noted for his modernist and constructivist designs in high-tech architecture.
26 de abr. de 2024 · Richard Rogers (born July 23, 1933, Florence, Italy—died December 18, 2021, London, England) was an Italian-born British architect noted for what he described as “celebrating the components of the structure.” His high-tech approach is most evident in the Pompidou Centre (1971–77) in Paris, which he designed with the Italian architect Renzo Piano.
Richard Rogers, el cuarto arquitecto británico en recibir el Premio Pritzker, falleció a los 88 años este sábado 18 de diciembre, según informó el periódico The New York Times. Nacido en Florencia (Italia) en 1933, Rogers y su familia se mudaron a Inglaterra cuatro años después.
