Rebecca is 35 and probably will never comment or apologize about art that she made as a teenager/young adult and I highly doubt she even remembers it exists. Also Danny (the creator) has seen the art and doesn't care, he likes the porn as much as normal fanart because it's all just fanwork.

Are we sure that this was concept art for the episode or just a random doodle she drew while working on the episode? This is the girl who drew Ed Edd n Eddy slash for fun we’re talking about. If it was concept, I see two probable reasons: Rebeca knew she wanted to make Marceline more prominent, but hadn’t decided how yet.
No, their point was that Rebecca Sugar, being a bisexual teen who was probably experiencing sexual frustration as a result of being a late teen that they couldn't express for various reasons, had to find ways to release that frustration.
