The IB’s PYP attitudes are a key element of the education process for all learners. They can help children develop positive attitudes towards other people, their environment and the process of learning.
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 3 - 12 nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. The PYP offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding.
6 de jun. de 2023 · The IB learner profile represents a broad range of human dispositions, capacities and traits that encompass intellectual, personal, emotional and social growth. Developing and demonstrating the attributes of the learner profile is an expression of what the IB means by international-mindedness.
The learner profile attributes provide all members of the learning community with a common language to describe and to reflect on the school culture, communications, feedback, and expectations. It is expected that they will be infused within the programme of inquiry as well as throughout the life of a school.

We teach about having a growth mind-set at our school and encourage our students to be honest in their self-assessments and reflections. We usually teach two or three attitudes in each of our units.
