Jon has never diminished David’s talent or ability. He has, however, come to Roger’s defense on some issues (his musical ability) and lambasted David’s recent business on the “Later Years” box set as well as the “Hey, Hey Rise Up” B-Side. The guy is all over post-Roger Pink Floyd, and he doesn’t need to kiss Roger’s ass.

Jon used to be in camp Gilmour until they had a falling-out. allegedlies Jon co-wrote a lot of late stage Floyd, (uncredited, paid, but not royalties) which he later regretted. But the icing on the cake for him was when Gilmour had him at a charity event and refused to pay Jon.
