1 de may. de 2014 · Atlanta Rhythm Section bassist Paul Goddard has died at the age of 68, his bandmates have confirmed. They say he’d suffered a short, sudden illness. The award-winning musician drew acclaim throughout his career for his style and tone.
In May 2011 Rodney Justo and original bassist Paul Goddard returned after a 28-year absence. Paul's second tenure with the band was short-lived as he died of cancer on April 29, 2014. After Paul's death, ARS continued to play shows with a lineup of Rodney Justo, Dean Daughtry, Steve Stone, Dave Anderson, Justin Senker and Jim Keeling.
