Jaegers ( [ˈjɛːɡɐ], Jäger, Hunter) are next generation mobile weapons. Originally pioneered by the Pan Pacific Defense Corps ' Jaeger Program, the Jaegers were the most effective first and last line of defense against the Kaiju during the Kaiju War from 2014 to 2025.
Appeared In (non-canon) Pacific Rim Uprising: The Junior Novel, Pacific Rim Uprising: Official Novelization, Pacific Rim Breach Wars. Gipsy Avenger is a Mark-6 Jaeger and the namesake of Gipsy Danger. Prior to the reemergence of the Kaiju in 2035, Gipsy Avenger was stationed in the Moyulan Shatterdome .

Pacific Rim is many things. Surprisingly poignant one of them. Gipsy – barely – survives Striker’s detonation, but it’s clear from the red HUD and warning sounds that she’s on her last legs. She’s got Raiju’s corpse though, and the Breach is straight ahead – but wait, it isn’t dead, Slattern surprise!

24 de ene. de 2018 · Anyway, the Kaiju are back to destroying urban environments in Pacific Rim Uprising, necessitating a whole new generation of presumably “drift compatible” Jaeger pilots led by John Boyega (as the son of Idris Elba’s Stacker Pentecost, still one of the finest character names ever).
Pacific Rim Uprising is a 2018 American science fiction monster film directed by Steven S. DeKnight (in his feature-film directorial and writing debut), and written by DeKnight, Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder and T.S. Nowlin. It is the sequel to the 2013 film Pacific Rim, and second installment in the Pacific Rim franchise.
