Morningrise is the second studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. It was released on 24 June 1996 in Europe by Candlelight Records and on 24 June 1997 in the United States by Century Black. The recording sessions took place at Unisound studio, in Finspång, during March and April 1996.

Artists all have unique styles so you need to pick one who seems good at the kinda style you want. Don't pick someone who specialises in bright cute animals for example.
Morningrise is by far the most-despised album from Opeth's most-loved period, the progressive blackened death metal stage that began at the band's formation and ended with the somewhat disappointing release of Watershed in 2008.

Comprised of only five songs, none of which run under 10 minutes, Morningrise begins with the 13-minute epic "Advent" whose folky acoustic intro contrasts the immediate twin guitars that explode along with Akerfeldt's blackish scream-like vocals.
