Onegin is a ballet created by John Cranko for the Stuttgart Ballet, premiered on 13 April 1965 at Staatstheater Stuttgart. The ballet was based on Alexander Pushkin's 1825-1832 novel Eugene Onegin, to music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and arrangements by Kurt-Heinz Stolze.

El estreno mundial de la obra fue en 1965 por el Ballet de Stuttgart. Era su tercer gran ballet y no tuvo muy buena acogida. Pero cuando el coreógrafo decidió volver a ponerla en escena dos años más tarde y le incorporó algunos cambios, enseguida se convirtió en una obra maestra.
