  3. Nazareth University (also known as Naz) is a private university in Pittsford, New York. It offers over 60 undergraduate majors and more than two dozen graduate programs. The college was previously Nazareth College of Rochester, or Nazareth College.

  4. Nazareth College - commonly referred to as just “Naz” by students and faculty - is a private college with just under 3,000 students. Based in the state of New York, Naz offers over 60 undergraduate majors as well as 24 graduate programs - roughly a quarter of its students are postgraduates.

  6. With newly-minted doctorates from Fordham University in New York City, and extensive graduate study at Oxford University and the Sorbonne, five Sisters of St. Joseph launched Nazareth College with the first 25 students starting classes on September 24, 1924, which came to be known as Naz Day.
