My experience with Mott the Hoople starts with the album All the Young Dudes through to The Hoople as well as the bands array of live albums (does the splinter band Mott count?). You could say I'm a little inexperienced with the band, but this is exactly why I jumped on Mental Train - The Island Years 1969-71.
