The legendary Paul Smith obliged with a Mini that matched his sense of simplicity, while delivering an exciting and vibrant Mini Cooper design. The relationship between Mini and Smith began even before this famous collaboration, as he had previously used a Mini as a motif on a skirt in one of his women's fashion collections.

As the name suggests, Paul spent the past few months working collaboratively with MINI to create this custom-made one-off car by radically deconstructing and stripping down a three-door MINI Cooper SE to its structural skeleton. The design is reimagined and reassembled using only the essential parts of the frame for a minimalistic look.

This new MINI Recharged + Paul Smith follows last year’s debut of the Paul Smith MINI STRIP – a concept car that pulled back the layers of extraneous design to leave just the essentials. Both cars are exhibited alongside one another at Paul Smith’s showroom for Salone Del Mobile 2022.
