Bootstrappers. J Mascis + The Fog. The Stooges. Website. mikewatt .com. Michael David Watt (born December 20, 1957) [1] is an American bassist, vocalist and songwriter. He co-founded and played bass guitar for the rock bands Minutemen (1980–1985), Dos (1985–present), and Firehose (1986–1994).

dos (from the Spanish word for "two") is an American rock group composed of Mike Watt and Kira Roessler, who both sing and play bass guitar. Critic Greg Prato [1] describes their unusual instrumentation as "a haunting yet intriguing and original sound."
18 de oct. de 2021 · Michael David Watt was born just before Christmas, 1957, and is widely regarded as one of the most important punk and post-punk bassists ever to have lived. His first band, Minutemen, blended punk with jazz and funk, but ended with the death of its frontman D. Boon in a car accident in 1985.
