Michael Kenji «Mike» Shinoda ( /ʃᵻˈnoʊdə/; en japonés: 篠田 賢治, romanizado : Shinoda Kenji) ( Agoura Hills, California, 11 de febrero de 1977) es un músico, cantante, rapero, compositor y productor discográfico estadounidense.
He designed the cover art for Styles of Beyond's debut album, 2000 Fold, Saukrates' debut album, The Underground Tapes, and DJ Frane's debut album, Frane's Fantastic Boatride, all released in 1999. He has also worked on several art projects throughout his career.

1996–2000: early years. On November 14, 1997, the Whisky a Go Go (a nightclub in West Hollywood, California) was the site of the first ever show performed by Linkin Park, then known as Xero. Linkin Park was founded by three high school friends: Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon, and Brad Delson. [6]
