31 de mar. de 2023 · The unreleased eight-minute Tubular Bells 4 Intro demo remains Oldfield's last recording to date. On the vinyl version, it's joined on the latest package by a new half-speed Abbey Road master of the original album, as well as a second record that unites several different version of the classic piece for the first time.
2 de oct. de 2020 · A new studio album by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Contemporary Voices Choir, featuring the iconic Tubular Bells and other Oldfield compositions, will be released on October 28, 2022. The album will be accompanied by a tour in the UK and the US in 2023.

Set for release on October 28, the album is performed by the highly regarded Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with the London Contemporary Voices Choir, conducted by three-time British Composer Of The Year, Simon Dobson, and emceed by award-winning British actor Brian Blessed (Flash Gordon, The Black Adder).
