There are so many ridiculous moments in the film. A deaf person listening at the door to hear if the killer is still out there. Police letting a person who is accused of murder (by a fellow cop!) go. A cop who lets a girl die because the killer threatens to kill himself. Characters in danger have cell phones that they never use.
