20 de mar. de 2024 · Michele Rundgren – the owner-operator of Tiki ‘Iniki, the only tiki bar on the Hawaiian island of Kaua‘i – has spent a lifetime in the spotlight. Her long and varied career has included stints as a trapeze artist, off-off-Broadway performer, rock ‘n’ roll singer and dancer, standup comedian and local radio host.

They arrived just after Hurrican Iniki had stripped the island of all its flowers and greenery, After living in Hawaii for about 16 Years, they opened up Tiki Iniki after finding no other really great local Tike Bars.
On Kauai, Rundgren suggests travelers seek out his favorite restaurants. One is Tiki Iniki , his wife Michele's bar and restaurant which also operates in Atlanta.
Reservations. Tiki Iniki is an exotic place for crafted Tiki Cocktails and Island Cuisine. The decor is Vintage Tiki, Hawaiiana, and Exotica from the 1940s to the modern day. The staff of sultry sirens and saucy liquid chefs add to the ambiance. The owners, Michele & Todd Rundgren, know how to throw a party, and you are invited!
Tiki Iniki opened in Princeville, on the north side of the island of Kauai, in 2013. It was brought to life by Michele Rundgren, wife of famed all-over-the-musical-map Todd Rundgren. The two fell in love with Kauai through their visits to the Coco Palms resort. They moved to Kauai just after Hurricane Iniki destroyed the resort.

30 de oct. de 2013 · Rock stars Todd and Michele Rundgren have been teasing us with the opening of Tiki Iniki for more than one year, and last Friday (Oct. 18) they quietly opened its doors. Located in Princeville Shopping Center, the tiki bar and restaurant promises a colorful atmosphere, handcrafted cocktails, artful and delicious food and a fanciful experience.
