His booming voice changed the character of Dumbledore.

  4. Michael Gambon did not yell the entire time during the movies. He yelled ONCE. He yelled exactly once when he shouldn't have. Every other scene he was quiet, reserved, contemplative, calm, mild-mannered, etc.

Why was he disliked by Harry Potter fans? And why did everyone prefer Harris’s Dumbledore over Gambon’s?
