From 2009 to 2011 Matt Bellamy wore some truly unique outfits. Possibly the most notable were his blue LED Glasses worn during Uprising. As it turns out, these would not be the last LED glasses he would wear onstage (see Simulation Theory era.).
It’s definitely ‘one of’ his most iconic looks, for sure. EDIT: In no particular order, I think his most iconic looks are lab coat (2004), Hullabaloo (late 2001), red hair (mid 2001) and red suit (2007). Also ST was pretty far out there and wow.
Matt had some brilliant outfits over the years. I loved the simplicity of his early Showbiz shirts, and the Plug in Baby checkered jacket. My favourite by far is the Lab Coat from the Absolution era, such an iconic outfit.
Looking at these pictures, Matt looks the best wearing suits and not just t-shirts. Hope they make a comeback soon, he just looks really cool in them.
