Mako Mankanshoku (満艦 (まんかん) 飾 (しょく) マコ (まこ) , Mankanshoku Mako?) is the best friend of Ryūko Matoi and tritagonist of Kill la Kill. She is a goofy, energetic girl who attends Honnōji Academy.
Mako Mankanshoku (満艦飾 マコ, Mankanshoku Mako) es uno de los personajes principales de Kill la Kill y la mejor amiga de Ryuko Matoi. Mako es una chica de 17 años con estatura algo pequeña. Tiene el cabello corto y marrón, en forma de coco, con una corte recto.

Mako is a second year student at Honnouji Academy. She is an uber air-head, so her unbelievable actions never cease to shock and awe the people around her. She strongly believes that she and Ryuko are best of friends even though they have just met.
