Maine East High School, or Maine East, and officially Maine Township High School East, is a public four-year high school located at the corner of Dempster Street and Potter Road in Park Ridge, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, in the United States.It is part of Maine Township High School District 207.. The building itself, constructed in the 1920s, is noted for its distinct Art Deco style.
History. In 1973, Mt. Ararat High School, then known as Mt. Ararat School, and assigned building number 73 to commemorate the year of launch, opened for the students of its four sending towns: Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, Maine. For the first 22 years of its existence, the school provided education to students in grades 7-12.
Sanford High School is a member of the Southwestern Maine Athletics Association (SMAA) which is in Western Maine Class A. The mascot was the "Redskins" prior to 2012, when the school decided to change their mascot due to claims from the Native American tribes of Maine that it was offensive. [citation needed] The students voted to change their mascot to the "Spartans."

Morse High School (Morse or MHS) is a public high school in Bath, Maine, serving the towns of Bath, Phippsburg, Woolwich, Georgetown, and Arrowsic.The student/adult ratio at Morse is 15:1. Caribou High School is a public high school in Caribou, Maine, United States.It serves students in grades 9-12 from Caribou, Connor Township, Stockholm, and Woodland.The school's Future Farmers of America chapter is one of the oldest chapters in the state, and one of the school's first clubs. Hermon High School is a two-story building that was completed in 1995. The 2008–2009 Cheerleading team swept all four competitions held in Maine, winning first at PVC's, Big East, Regionals and States. [citation needed] They placed sixth in the New England Cheerleading Competition.
