Deciduous tree, to 60-80 ft (18-24 m) tall with a 40 ft (12 m) spread. Leaves about 23 x 11 cm, elliptic-ovate to oblong-lanceolate, tip pointed (acute to accuminate), base unequal, rounded to wedge-shaped, upper surface dark green, pale green below.
