It’s less that he’s burning the candle from both ends and more that he’s somehow lit the entire candle on fire at once. That time being a salary man probably aged him. Japan’s work culture is infamous for how stressful it is. Nanami legit looks like stress got to him, but he does not look anywhere near 50 to me.

Other netizens are also pointing out the similarities between the two, saying that Mads Mikkelsen was born in Denmark whilst Nanami Kenjin is a quarter Danish.
