A classic Manhattan gets a Maraschino-powered upgrade with thanks to a welcome splash of luxurious Luxardo Maraschino cherry syrup and an irresistibly decadent garnish. Ingredients. 1 ½ oz. bourbon whiskey. 1 ½ oz. sweet vermouth. ½ tsp. (one small bar spoon) syrup from. Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries jar. 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
26 de may. de 2023 · Made with gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and Angostura bitters, this Martini precursor resembles a gin Manhattan, and that’s no coincidence. The drink was included in the footnotes of a Manhattan recipe when it first appeared in print, in O.H. Byron’s 1884 book The Modern Bartenders’ Guide.

7 de sept. de 2018 · Into a glass or cocktail shaker, fill 1/2 way with ice, add 2 ounces bourbon and 1 ounce of sweet red vermouth. Next, a splash of the Luxardo Maraschino Cherry syrup from the jar, about a 2/3 of a teaspoon and 3 dashes of Agostura bitters. Using a bar spoon, stir the cocktail for about 20-30 seconds.
7 de oct. de 2023 · The traditional garnish for a Manhattan cocktail is a Luxardo cherry. Luxardo cherries are a cocktail cherry, but they’re so dark red they almost look black. They don’t taste anything like a Maraschino: the flavor is complex, fruity, and nutty, almost like amaretto.
