24 de abr. de 2024 · Lord Sutch is credited, in some quarters, as producing the worst album of all time (Heavy Friends), a 1998 BBC Poll gave it top position as an example. But it's actually a great piece of vinyl, in my view. So all a matter of (poor) taste, really.

21 de abr. de 2024 · You mean Screaming Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends? I bought that LP around 1972 and no matter how much we drank or smoked, it still sounded like crap. Mind you, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so YMMV. I think I still have it stored in a box somewhere along with some other forgotten rejects.
6 de may. de 2024 · Primer disco del grupo americano (no confundir con el otro grupo americano de mismo nombre que también sacó un LP este año y del cual hablaré mañana). Esto es heavy metal con mucha influencia de Black Sabbath y del heavy metal más primigenio (lo que luego se conocería como Doom o proto Doom). Solo sacaron este LP y otro más, pero hoy en día un grupo un poco de culto.

1 de may. de 2024 · He first learned to play guitar by borrowing a friend’s in high school and then attempted to build his own by bolting a cigarette box to a fencepost. While studying at the Wimbledon College of Art, Beck played guitar in a few groups including Screaming Lord Sutch and The Savages and The Nightshift before leaving to join The Tridents in 1964.
