Second on the list in terms of the longest US landing strips that handle commercial flights is runway 8L/26R at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Bigorre, this concrete-paved strip clocks in at 4,424 meters long, or 14,515 feet. It is one of four runways at the sprawling facility.
