Next up, the STAPLES: a variation of cookies 'n cream, some type of iced sugar cookie, and one chocolate based flavor! At the 1925 Lions International Convention at Cedar Point, Ohio, Helen Keller presented her challenge to the Lions to be her “Knights of the Blind”. Her cause lives on as today’s Lions provide vision services worldwide as one of eight global initiatives.
Who Are the Lions? Lions are people just like you and me. They are men and women who care about their communities and the world around them. The International Association of Lions Clubs is the largest of all the service organizations with over 1.4 million members worldwide and it was founded in 1917.
