  2. At the New York campus, the Two-Year Professional Acting Conservatory is approved. Veteran applicants must complete the same application process as all other Conservatory applicants. Veterans must also submit: Certificate of Eligibility and/or DD-214. Transcripts from all previous study, unofficial transcripts are sufficient.

  4. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute celebrates over 50 years of actor training and is the only school that teaches Lee Strasberg’s work in its complete and authentic form. Staff and teachers conducting classes have been selected for their comprehensive knowledge of Lee Strasberg’s work and their ability to apply it to the problems of the actor.

  6. Our acting school in NYC has two theaters and offers a curated season of shows, talks, and events that highlight the incredible interchange of people and art throughout the city. Workshops with professional industry guests and an array of plays, scene nights, and musicals are all part of the extracurricular offerings at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York.

  7. The Full-Time Program is 12 weeks, with 22 hour s per week of classes. This program includes 8 hours of Method Acting and 14 hours electives of the students choice, chosen from the available classes. In Summer term the program is 10 weeks/26 hour hours per week of classes. The Part-Time program consists of 12 weeks at 8 hours per week.
