She is perhaps best known for her role in Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis' BACK TO THE FUTURE I, II, and III (Kid's Choice Award winner) and as the title character in the syndicated series, CAROLINE IN THE CITY, for which she won TV Guide and People's Choice Awards.
