Stone left Elite and signed with IMG Models worldwide in 2006. In January she made her catwalk debut when Riccardo Tisci put her in his Givenchy couture shows in Paris.
The Dutch model Lara Stone was discovered in the Paris Métro at 15 years old. Originally scouted for the Elite model competition, Stone was subsequently offered a contract with the agency.
