I often disagree with Christgau reviews, but I never regret having read them. From his review of Wake: “For a long time I thought this was the worst rock band in history simply because it was the most pretentious, but sometimes pretensions are (at least partially) earned.”. The Crims should have sold a t-shirt with that on it.
