Kevin Ayers, né le 16 août 1944 à Herne Bay et mort le 18 février 2013 à Montolieu (France), est un guitariste, bassiste, compositeur et chanteur britannique.Rattaché à l’École de Canterbury à ses débuts, il co-fonde le groupe de rock expérimental Soft Machine.S'il quitte la formation deux ans plus tard, il invite fréquemment ses anciens camarades sur ses albums solo postérieurs.

[Deep Cuts Genre Guide: Canterbury Prog Part #2] I can certainly appreciate how far ahead this album was for it's time (1969), but when it comes to this entire genre in general, this album really felt lacking in that it just didn't feel like a cohesive project. It was really over the place and seemed like it had no logical progression.
