27 de ene. de 2019 · 40 Years Ago this month, Keith and Donna Godchaux played their last ever show with the Grateful Dead. Their nearly eight run with the band encompassed the golden era of the band, about half in the one drummer Monster years of 1972-1974 and the marvelous 1976-1977 run as well.
21 de sept. de 2012 · Over in one of the discussion groups on DeadNet Central recently, someone was fondly recalling Keith and Donna’s final show, at the Oakland Coliseum on Feb. 17, 1979, noting it was a rare great show from their late period with the band. My own experience of that show was not particularly positive.

4 de ago. de 2010 · Keith Godchaux (July 19, 1948 – July 23, 1980) Following the illness of Ron McKernan, Keith Godchaux took up the keyboard reigns for the Grateful Dead on October 19, 1971 at the Northrop Auditorium at the University of Minnesota. Godchaux played with the Grateful Dead from 1972 until 1979 when he was replaced by Brent Mydland.
