Following the departure of the songwriter, Syd Barrett, in 1968, Waters became Pink Floyd's lyricist, co-lead vocalist and conceptual leader until his departure in 1985.

It starts off with the lyric "It's awfully considerate of you to think of me here And I'm almost obliged to you for making it clear that I'm not here" And of course one of my favorite lines:
