Just replace the Joshua Trees with Ocotillo…. I’ve never seen so many Ocotillo than in this area. Towns along the 395 like Independence, and Bishop. In Utah there is Kanab, and the towns along the 12, Escalate, and Boulder. In Nevada there is Caliente ( it has the same train station as Kelso depot in Mojave Preserve).
