1 de abr. de 2024 · En la última versión de La Liga de la Justicia, la Snyder Cut, vemos de nuevo al Joker y lo interpreta el mismo actor que le dio vida de forma accidentada en Escuadrón Suicida (Suicide Squad): Jared Leto. El actor no tuvo la oportunidad de mostrar toda su valía en aquella primera película.
También se confirmó que la película no tendría efecto en la representación de Jared Leto del Joker en el DCEU, y se esperaba que sea la primera en una nueva serie de películas de DC que no estén relacionadas con esa franquicia. El mismo mes, Robert De Niro y Zazie Beetz fueron contratados para papeles secundarios.
