Total Control is the first solo album by Europe guitarist John Norum. It was released after Norum left Europe following the release of 1986's The Final Countdown and the tour that followed.

Total Control is the second solo album by John NORUM, released in 1987. It features the singles Let Me Love You, Wild One and Back on the Streets, and the bonus track Wild One by Phil LYNOTT. The album also includes the songs Love Is Meant (To Last Forever) and Eternal Flame, co-written by John NORUM and Marcel JACOB.

Norum was upset with both the image and musical direction Europe was taking with The Final Countdown, so he walked away from the band at the height of their success to start his own group.
