Stria (1977) – as most of electroacoustic music produced in the beginning of digital synthesis techniques – was fixed on a mass storage disk with a strong background noise caused by the use of low sample rates (12.8 and 25.6 kHz). In 1988, John Chowning published a commercial CD containing Phoné, Turenas, Stria and Sabelithe.
